Questions
How do I price lawn mowing?
A common way is a price per visit based on the lawn size, plus extras like edging and trimming. Measure the mowed area, multiply by your rate per square foot and make sure small lawns still reach your minimum charge. The example rates here are only a starting point.
Should weekly customers pay less?
Some crews give a small discount for regular service because the grass is shorter and the route is planned. The calculator shows how a discount changes your margin before you offer it.
What about mulch and materials?
Mulch, soil and plants cost much more than mowing supplies. On jobs with materials, raise the 'chemicals and supplies' percentage so the margin check stays honest.
What does the terrain multiplier change?
Only the lines ticked as 'terrain applies' (mowing, trimming and leaf cleanup by default). Slopes and obstacles slow you down; set your own multiplier.
Is it free? What does Pro cost?
The calculator is free in your browser, with no account. Pro is a one-time payment of $19 for this tool: your business name on every quote, your own work items and a saved price book. No subscription.
Is this a CRM?
No. It is a quoting tool: it works out a price and prints a quote. It has no invoicing, no scheduling and no customer list, and you do not need an account. The numbers you type stay in your browser.
Prices and times are your own inputs: the example values are only a starting point, not market rates. Your data stays in your browser; only a licence key is checked when you unlock Pro.
